No, not at all! We will be sure you are comfortable with our experienced welder to perform the service.

There is no “soldering” or flame, just a tiny spark to heat the metal together. Nothing touches your skin.

We use high-quality chains that endure the test of time and are meant to be worn through all of life’s activities, including showers and water sports.

Frequently used heavily chlorinated pools are not recommended as chlorine can deteriorate the metal structure over time. Be sure to rinse your jewelry after wearing in chlorine or salt water to prolong the life of your piece.

Natural hot springs and some well water contains sulphur which naturally oxidizes sterling silver. The oxidization will polish off, try our Sunshine polishing cloth to bring your jewelry back to sparkling new.

They are almost maintenance-free, but we suggest using a Sunshine polishing cloth occasionally to polish off lotions, perfumes and body oil.

Yes, you are not required to remove jewelry while going through security.

Our chains are precious metal and won’t set off the machine.

If you need to remove your jewelry, cut it at the Link we put in it. We re-weld them back on or make adjustments for $10 each ($25 if you didn’t purchase your permanent jewelry from us).

Permanent Jewelry is generally required to be removed for MRI or surgery, depending on your physician.

Cut it off with sharp scissors at the Link we welded. We can re-weld them back on so be sure to save your chain.

Appointments are booked in 15-minute increments, if you are late for your appointment you run the risk of taking someone else's reservation and setting us behind for the day.

Please call us, to let us know about your delay, so we can try to accommodate you. We will do our best, however, if you are more than 5 minutes late, you will run the risk of losing your time slot and deposit.

Each bracelet takes about 15 minutes, anklets, necklaces and custom designs can take a bit longer.

We do a thorough check of our chain and weld before it leaves the studio to ensure it is properly bonded. The length of time permanent jewelry can last depends on a variety of factors including lifestyle, job, kids, pets, and other external factors…and sometimes dumb luck!

My Linkers™ and I have all been wearing ours for several years with no breakage, and still looking shiny and new; however, this is not a guarantee of the lifespan of your unique piece.

No, we use high-quality precious metals.

We are now offering colorful plated enamel chains and after having it over a year, it has yet to turn anyone green.

Sterling silver can oxidize in sulphur, so if you have well water or frequent natural hot springs, I suggest a gold bracelet instead or a Sunshine polishing cloth to clean off the oxidization.

We are NOT responsible for lost or broken jewelry, and do NOT replace or refund for any reason, or after any length of time. This policy is effective as soon as you leave our store.

Yes! We understand in some occupations jewelry can’t be worn, and custom-fit jewelry with a clasp is a great option!

We repair and re-weld jewelry not purchased from us on a case by case basis, pricing begins at $25.

Everyone is required to sign a consent, and a parent is required to sign a consent for children.

We have accepted most ages with parental consent, but do NOT recommend for children still putting things in their mouths. Recommended age is 3 and up.

Our Linkers™ are highly skilled welders, and appreciate being tipped for their service. Although never required, they are graciously accepted.
